Engineer (Construction) Exeter - Hybrid working Permanent £55,000-£70,000 Sphere solutions are working with a national housebuilder to recruit a Construction Engineer who will manage the design of infrastructure and groundwork packages for residential developments. Responsibilities Arranging and managing service enquiries for new developments, ensuring timely payments for required utilities. Oversee designs produced by external consulting engineers, covering foundations, estate roads, sewers and Section 38, 104 and 278 works. Secure and manage adoption agreements (S38, S104, S278), ensuring bonds are set up, reduced and closed on time. Input into structural designs for superstructure elements. Review consultant designs to ensure value engineering, accuracy and compliance with regulations. Work closely with the Technical Team and wider business to support the discharge of planning conditions and building regulations. Qualifications Experience in a similar role with a housing developer Strong knowledge of estate road and sewer construction & inspection Understanding of Highway and Water Industry standards Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving skills Construction related qualifications (Degree/HND/HNC) desirable Benefits Competitive salary and bonus scheme Private medical cover (single cover) Company car or cash allowance Annual medical health assessment 26 days' holiday (increasing with service to 29 days) Flexible benefits options How to Apply Please follow the below instructions to apply or call Jo or Cat for an informal chat.
