Role Overview Join our visiting care team in Richmond, London as a Part‑Time Care Assistant. This role requires just 4 hours per day and is ideal for students or professionals with other part‑time work. Our client is an engaging individual with a strong sense of humour who thrives on creative activity. The Shift The shift is 4 hours, seven days a week. It can be split between two people. Standard times are typically midday/early afternoon or late afternoon/early evening, but we can discuss adjustments to fit your commitments. Key Responsibilities Plan and execute meaningful activities that keep the client engaged and active during the break period. Provide companionship and hands‑on projects such as baking treats, leading arts and crafts, music time and other creative pursuits. Offer attentive, stimulating companionship throughout the day. Essential Requirements This role requires specific skills: Professional experience supporting individuals with Learning Disabilities. Experience with epilepsy – ability to monitor and calmly respond to any needs or incidents. Reliability, creativity, punctuality and empathy to build a long‑term rapport with the client.
