Join to apply for the Electrician role at NuWave Government Solutions (NuGOV) Contract Type: Permanent, Full TimeHours: 39 hours per week (Mon‑Thu 8AM‑4:30PM; Fri 8AM‑3:30PM)Closing date: Thursday 18th December 2025Interview date: Monday 5th January 2026 Responsibilities Carrying out all aspects of electrical works in customers’ homes and empty properties. Repairing/replacing electrical fittings and diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults. Completing relevant certification to BS 7671, including EICR, Minor Works and Installation certificates. Delivering an excellent customer experience by understanding the different needs of our customers and tailoring your approach. Be easy to deal with and keep your promises. Reporting any potential repairs and safeguarding issues that you notice in customers’ homes. Updating your PDA in real‑time on a job’s status and communicating with planners if customers are not at home or jobs are not viable. Qualifications City and Guilds Parts I, II & III or NVQ Level 3 in electrical installation works. City and Guilds 2391, 2394 and 2395. Current BS 7671 qualification (18th Edition Regulations). Experience in a similar role and in certifying electrical works. Experience in testing and inspection of domestic dwellings. Sound building, construction, general maintenance / repair knowledge. Experience in working with IT systems (email, Word and Excel). Full valid driving licence. Position is subject to a basic DBS check. Everyone’s welcome here.
