We are looking for passionate and experienced psychotherapists to join our dedicated team and support individuals on their journey to overcoming addiction and rebuilding their lives. You’ll work in a compassionate and clinically robust setting alongside doctors, therapists, and support staff within a service that’s been a leader in residential addiction treatment for over 35 years.What You’ll Be DoingIn this role, you’ll be a core part of our therapeutic team, supporting patients through some of the most significant moments of their recovery journey. From the very beginning of the patient journey, you’ll carry out detailed biopsychosocial assessments to help shape individualised treatment plans tailored to each person’s needs. You’ll deliver therapy across a range of formats, including one-to-one sessions, group work, and family therapy, in a setting where compassion, safety, and trust are central to the healing process for patients and families.Your week may also include supporting our continuing care teletherapy programme, as well as taking part in our weekend therapy rota. You’ll keep thorough, confidential records in accordance with professional standards and will work closely with referrers to coordinate seamless care across every stage of a patient’s treatment, including follow-ups with referral sources.At Castle Craig, we believe in continual learning and professional development. You’ll be encouraged to keep up to date with emerging research and best practices in psychotherapy, and you’ll have regular opportunities to reflect on your work through supervision and clinical training.Here’s What We’re Looking ForYou’ll be a dedicated therapist with a recognised qualification in Psychology, Counselling, Social Work or a related field, and registration or accreditation with a recognised professional body (e.g., BACP, UKCP, COSCA, BABCP, AP). You’ll also bring:Significant experience delivering psychotherapy or counselling in a clinical settingThe ability to build rapport with people from all walks of lifeExcellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on active listeningA strong sense of ethics and understanding of mental health legislationA team mindset with the ability to also work independentlyA commitment to ongoing learning and professional developmentFor Level 3 TherapistsRegistered with an accrediting body (AP, COSCA, BACP, BABCP)Working towards full accreditationAble to carry a full caseload after a supported inductionSupervision and training provided toward full accreditationFor Level 4 Specialist TherapistsFully accredited (AP, BACP, BABCP, COSCA, UKCP, HCPC, or equivalent)Developing specialist competencies in areas such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, gambling, sex addiction, eating disorders, psychosocial admissions assessment, etc.Here’s What We OfferWe know that looking after our staff helps us deliver the best care for our patients.
