Unqualified General Teacher – Walsall Location: Walsall Start: ASAP Contract: Full-time or Part-time Salary: £90–£130 per day (PAYE) We’re supporting a group of Walsall secondary schools looking for reliable, confident and adaptable unqualified teachers to step into general cover roles. If you enjoy working with young people, can keep a classroom calm and purposeful, and want to develop your experience in education, this could be a strong fit. What the role involves: Supervising pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects Maintaining a positive learning environment Managing behaviour and keeping students on task Working with staff to ensure smooth transitions between lessons Supporting the school day where needed What the schools are looking for: Experience working with young people, ideally in a school or youth setting Strong communication skills and a steady, approachable manner Confidence leading a classroom Reliability and professionalism A genuine interest in developing within education What you’ll get with Protocol Education: Weekly pay through PAYE A dedicated local consultant who knows Walsall schools well Free access to our online CPD Academy, including behaviour and safeguarding modules Opportunities in mainstream, SEND and alternative settings Fast, simple registration Referral rewards if you recommend someone This role is a great way to build classroom experience and decide whether teaching is right for you.
