Job description P+S Personnel are pleased to be working on behalf of our clients, who are currently seeking a Tank Specialist to join their team based in the Essex area on a full-time, short-term basis. Must be UK Personnel Main Responsibilities Provide expert guidance on tank repair, decommissioning, and deconstruction to ensure on-site mechanical work meets the highest standards and complies with HSE, company standards, and specifications. Review repair worklists and engineering drawings and prepare technical and tender scopes of work to align with company specs and standards. Issue Scopes of Work according to company purchasing and planning procedures. Ensure Contractor QMSs are reviewed, approved, and implemented effectively. Prepare cost estimates to deliver the best value within budget constraints. Monitor costs to ensure they remain within the estimated range. Qualifications and Experience Degree in a related field such as Piping, Mechanical, or Process Engineering. Previous experience as a Tank Specialist. Essential experience in decommissioning and deconstruction. Person Specification Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset. Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent team building and collaboration skills.
