CNC Programmer Location: Willenhall Salary: £40,000 Hours: Days, early Friday finish Commutable from Birmingham, Handsworth, Dudley, Wolverhampton, Wombourne, Wednesbury, Walsall, Aldridge, Burntwood, Coven, Great Barr. With a reputation for quality and innovation, we are expanding our team, and are looking for a skilled 5‑axis CNC Programmer to join our growing operation. Key Responsibilities Program 5‑axis CNC machines using CAM software. Creating, optimising and trouble‑shooting CNC programs. Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specifications. Select appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for various materials. Optimize toolpaths for efficiency, accuracy, and surface finish. Set up, prove out, and adjust programs on the shop floor when necessary. Collaborate with machinists to troubleshoot machining issues. Ensure all work meets quality standards and production deadlines. Requirements Experience programming 5‑axis CNC machines. We will also consider candidates with CNC setting and operating skills who want to learn programming. Proficiency in CAM software (Mastercam, NX, Powermill, or equivalent). Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and fixturing. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and GD&T. Experience with aerospace, medical, or high‑precision components (preferred).Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
