Job Title: Senior Treasury Analyst Location: London, United Kingdom Hours: 40 per week Line Of Business: Finance Overview Senior Treasury Analyst for an Investment Portfolio with a core strategy focused on high quality fixed income instruments, including European Government Bonds, Agencies and similar assets. Responsibilities Aid in proactively managing the Investment Portfolio processes; identify and assess bond investments in accordance with the Investment policy. Remain informed on market data, economic information and regulatory standards to assist in maximizing profitability through sound decisions. Present bond deal proposals to Desk Head based on analysis and risk assessment of the portfolio's maturity profile, credit profile, yield/spread optimization, and capital/liquidity considerations. Support and maintain administrative, documentation and governance processes in line with policy requirements. Manage and match daily cash flows and ensure effective portfolio hedging through FX contracts and derivative instruments within defined risk parameters; manage inter-affiliate loan cash flows. Ensure trades are entered into the trading system promptly and that positions are accurately valued. Propose new credit lines and/or brokers to management where applicable. Compile monthly reporting and support delivery of presentations to senior management or stakeholder groups. Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes aligned with risk appetite. Understand and comply with TD Policies, regulatory and compliance requirements. Act as a brand ambassador for the business area/function and the bank, internally and externally. Qualifications Ability to conduct ongoing independent research into market trends and activity. Attention to detail with a strong focus on meeting deadlines. High level of dependability and results-oriented approach. Clear and effective communication; strong interpersonal skills across all levels. Understanding and promotion of strong internal controls; strategic thinker. Experience in financial services and, specifically, trading fixed income products is an asset. Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
