About the Company Our client is a fast-growing manufacturing business with an annual turnover of approximately £25 million, producing high-quality products for customers across a range of industries. As the company continues to expand its operations, we are seeking an experienced finance professional to lead our finance function and support strategic decision-making. Role Overview The successful candidate will take full ownership of day-to-day financial operations, management accounting, statutory compliance, and financial leadership within the organisation. Key Responsibilities Financial Management & Reporting Produce timely and accurate monthly management accounts, KPIs, and board-level reporting. Prepare annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and cashflow projections. Manage year-end processes, working with external auditors and tax advisors. Ensure accurate balance sheet reconciliations and maintain general ledger integrity. Operational Finance Oversee the day-to-day activities of the finance department, including purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll, credit control, and bank reconciliation. Manage working capital effectively, including cashflow monitoring, debtor management, and supplier payment planning. Implement robust financial controls and identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and system enhancements. Business Partnering & Strategic Support Act as a key financial advisor to the business owners. Provide commercial insight to support costing, pricing strategies, margin analysis, and capital investment decisions. Support production planning, project costing, and customer profitability reviews. Contribute to strategic planning and long-term financial modelling as the business continues to grow. Leadership & Team Management Ensure clear objectives, training, and performance management are in place. Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
