Lecturer in Accounting & Finance - East London Full‑Time, Permanent (40 hours per week) – sponsorship not offered. Working in partnership with several of the UK’s leading higher education providers, we deliver vocational, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in finance, accounting, business, construction, tourism, healthcare – and more. RoleWe are seeking a Lecturer to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to deliver during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required. Responsibilities Plan, deliver and assess student work to meet all learning outcomes. Develop, update and improve course materials. Employ a variety of learning and teaching methods. Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other admin duties. Keep current with developments in your field and student support practices. Work toward clear objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression. About You Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable). Have previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area. Demonstrate extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter. Has supervised student work and provided support and feedback. Can accurately report and maintain thorough, organised student records. Able to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Can work with diverse groups of people. Desirable Hold a Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or an equivalent teaching qualification (or a commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (or an international equivalent). Have experience designing/developing academic or professional education programmes.
