Job Description Pay Range: $76.88/hr - $81.88/hr The Tax Manager will oversee tax compliance, accounting, audits, and planning activities. This role involves preparing cash tax forecasts, managing tax account reconciliations, responding to tax authority inquiries, and leading tactical tax projects. The ideal candidate has a CPA certification, strong analytical skills, and proven experience in public accounting or industry settings. Requirement/Must Have Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent. 8+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry. Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel. Strong project management skills. Excellent documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience Preparing cash tax forecasts and estimated tax payments. Conducting quarterly tax account reconciliations. Responding to tax audits and inquiries with discretion. Leading specialized tax research and tactical tax projects. Identifying tax process improvement opportunities. Responsibilities Ensure tax compliance and manage tax reporting processes. Prepare cash tax forecasts and analyze estimated tax payments. Perform specialized tax accounting analysis and reconciliations. Respond to taxing authorities’ information requests and notices. Conduct special projects and tax research. Guide project teams on executing tactical tax initiatives. Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve tax processes. Support financial leadership and interface with project managers and finance teams. Adhere to company rules and safety/environmental protocols. Should Have Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to consult and lead in project settings. Ability to represent leadership and interact professionally at all levels. Skills Expertise in financial processes and systems related to tax. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills. Knowledge of advanced Excel and other financial systems. Proven ability to provide financial leadership and drive project objectives. Qualification and Education Bachelor’s degree in related field (required). CPA certification (required).
