Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting a growing manufacturing business in Durham who are looking to add an electrically biased Maintenance technician to their team. This role will operate on a continental shift pattern.

Over the past decade, they have quadrupled their production capacity and invested in modern automated machinery and equipment. This is an excellent opportunity to change the way the business and production see Maintenance.

Job Description

* Identifying production problems/deficiencies and be able to use a methodical approach to solve them

* Optimising manufacturing process - improving efficiencies/reducing wasteage

* Experience working on motors, control systems, PLC, plant facilities

* Able to fault-find and repair large complex pieces of electrical equipment

* Complete reactive maintenance to cover asset failures

Skills Required

* Electrically biased with some mechanical understanding

* Previous experience within a Manufacturing environment

* Time Served

* ONC/HNC qualified

* Ability to work continental shift patterns
