They specialise in high‑profile landscape architecture, planning, and civil engineering projects. We are seeking a capable, experienced Senior Civil Engineer with extensive infrastructure design knowledge to work on challenging projects with a newly established team. Oversee day‑to‑day running of engineering projects from inception to delivery. Mentor and support colleagues in their development. Liaise with clients and stakeholders across public and private sectors. Prepare and check a variety of technical documents. Adhere to company policies, procedures, best practice, and health and safety standards. Represent the company at client meetings, site visits, and other events. Required Skills & Experience UK Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering. Chartered status with a relevant, recognised professional body. Experience in a design role within a UK‑based consultancy setting. Considerable experience with infrastructure (highways, drainage), housing developments, and energy projects. Experience with earthworks and drainage network modelling. Proficiency in Civils 3D, MicroDrainage, AutoCAD, and other software packages. Experience writing and checking technical reports. Demonstrable client and stakeholder liaison experience. Excellent organisation, time management, team leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Desirable Skills & Experience Masters Degree (or equivalent qualification) in Civil Engineering or similar discipline. Authoring Flood Risk Assessments experience. Preparing Transport Assessments experience. Leading projects or teams experience. Experience working in a public‑facing role. Full, valid UK driving licence.
