Venatu is proud to announce that our client in the fire safety industry is looking for a Fire Extinguisher Technician to join as soon as possible.The company specializes in design, supply, installation and maintenance of fire detection, alarm and suppression systems for commercial, industrial and residential environments.PositionFull‑time position: £30k–£35k + brand new company van + bonus. Working hours 8:30 AM–4:30 PM, no weekend or overnight work.Job DutiesInspect, test and maintain portable fire extinguishers in line with NFPA standards and local regulations.Perform recharging, hydrostatic testing and repairs on various fire extinguishers.Accurately document all inspections, maintenance activities and service reports.Identify and replace damaged, expired or non‑compliant equipment.Install new extinguishers and ensure proper placement and labeling.Provide on‑site customer support and educate clients on proper usage and maintenance.Maintain an organized inventory of parts, tools and service equipment.Adhere to company safety procedures and promote a safe work environment.Candidate RequirementsExperience in fire‑extinguisher servicing; qualification such as BAFE/FETA or equivalent.Front‑line customer service experience.Ability to work unsupervised and problem‑solve.Computer literacy (email, Word, Excel, PDA/iPad/smartphone).Full driving licence.Additional experience with other fire systems is advantageous.BenefitsBrand new company van supplied.Fuel card.Mobile phone.Annual bonus.No working away, no weekend rota.Great prospect for career progression.Please apply with your CV ASAP. #J-18808-Ljbffr
