About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Demolition Engineer to join a Tier 1 contractor working on major infrastructure projects at Heathrow Airport. This is a long-term opportunity offering stable work, a professional environment, and involvement in one of the UK’s most high-profile aviation developments.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and coordinate all demolition activities within an operational airport environment.

Ensure works are carried out in compliance with CDM regulations, safety standards, and airport procedures.

Liaise with design, structural, and environmental teams to plan and execute controlled demolition works.

Manage subcontractors, permits, risk assessments, and method statements (RAMS).

Conduct site inspections, monitor progress, and report on safety and quality performance.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Demolition Engineer on Tier 1 major projects (preferably infrastructure or aviation).

Strong understanding of controlled demolition, temporary works, and health & safety compliance.

Valid CSCS and relevant engineering qualifications (Degree or HNC in Civil/Structural Engineering).

Airside pass or eligibility to obtain one preferred.

Excellent communication and coordination skills.
