This is a newly created static post. If you are motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic WE NEED YOUThe successful candidate will work as part of a highly experienced, friendly team of a Band 7 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists, Band 6 Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists and also rotational band 5s, Band 4s and support workers. A good range of Band 5 rotations is essential. The post holder will be expected to provide regular post graduate training within their clinical specialty and work alongside Band 7s to complete some departmental managerial duties.We can also offer development roles for the successful candidate who may require additional supportPlease note previous applicants need not apply.Main duties of the jobBand 6 Physiotherapists work closely with all users of our services and their families, friends and carers who all play an invaluable contribution in how our users experience our services. Band 6 therapists are expected to be kind and responsive but professional and informative and contribute to the quality of the services provided across the health economy by:To manage daily a clinical specialist caseload within Critical Care and the Surgical Wards and be responsible for the assessment, formulation and treatments and to give highly specialised therapy advice to members of the MDT.To deputise for Team Leader on clinical and managerial issues within the teamTo be actively involved with training within the DepartmentEach clinical area has friendly supportive teams where regular meetings, CPD and supervision is availableAbout usWe are one of the largest hospital trusts in England, with five hospitals and community clinics serving a local population of around 800,000 people.
