Senior Quantity Surveyor – Jersey Build your career on solid ground with Dandara. The Role We're looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to play a key role within our commercial team, overseeing the financial management of multiple developments. You'll take ownership of cost control, forecasting, and contractual strategy — ensuring every project runs efficiently, on time, and within budget. If you're relocating from the UK or Ireland, we can support you with accommodation arrangements (subject to local regulations and individual circumstances). What you'll do From feasibility through to completion, you'll drive the commercial success of each project. Preparing and managing site budgets, cost reports, and forecasts. Leading subcontract procurement, tendering, and contract negotiation. Managing valuations, variations, and final accounts. Providing commercial guidance to project and site teams. Liaising with engineers, buyers, and consultants to maintain cost efficiency. Attending regular progress meetings and presenting to Directors. What you'll bring A relevant qualification and strong residential or mixed-use project experience. Proven ability to manage large-scale developments with minimal supervision. Excellent cost control and commercial acumen. Proficiency in Excel and Word; experience with tools such as CostX or Bluebeam is a plus. A proactive, collaborative approach and confidence leading others. An interest in innovation — experience with AI-assisted tools like ChatGPT is advantageous.
