Geotechnical Engineer (Colchester) Reference: BY138876 Salary: GBP30,000 – GBP40,000 A multidisciplinary engineering consultancy based near Colchester is seeking an experienced Geotechnical Design Engineer to join their team on a variety of exciting projects around the UK. This role offers focussed support to chartership and the opportunity to develop your career through a range of residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities Develop ground models and design structures including retaining walls, foundations, piles, and reinforced soil slopes. Conduct ground movement assessments. Qualifications Experience as a Geotechnical Design Engineer, strong understanding of soil mechanics and experience using software such as AutoCAD, Excel, Alp, PDisp, Rocscience Slide, ADC Adsec, Oasys Pile and WALLAP. Degree in Engineering Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering (geotechnical focus) or similar; MSc preferred. Full and clean UK Driving Licence.
