Our Tax Services team is looking for an M&A Tax Manager to support the development of our M&A tax practice while also supporting other transactional projects such as restructurings and refinancing. The successful applicant will manage M&A tax engagements on a day‑to‑day basis and will work closely with the M&A tax team to develop Interpath Advisory’s M&A tax business. They will also work on broader transactional tax engagements involving restructurings and refinancing and will collaborate with the insolvency practice focusing on business rescue, turnaround and managed exits. Accountabilities Managing tax due diligence and tax structuring engagements to deliver market‑leading M&A tax services Reviewing and preparing complex corporation tax returns for both companies in insolvency processes and solvent companies Developing external and internal client and stakeholder relationships to support delivery and generation of M&A tax opportunities Training and developing junior team members to support a high‑performance culture and foster a strong team ethic Managing transaction tax engagements in relation to restructurings and refinancing Requirements Relevant M&A tax experience Strong UK corporate tax compliance experience, including experience with AlphaTax Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of dealing confidently and articulately with clients and stakeholders Flexibility and pragmatism in managing engagements, providing solutions to client challenges Ability to operate in a fast‑moving environment and enjoy working in a dynamic and supportive team ACA, CTA qualified or equivalent professional tax qualification Benefits At Interpath, our people lie at the heart of our business.
