Gymnastics Coach

NS Coaching offers comprehensive sports coaching solutions tailored for Primary Schools, including extra‑curricular clubs & PE lessons / PPA cover. The company is dedicated to fostering a passion for sports and promoting skill development in both group and individual settings. Role Description This is a part‑time role, located in the Welwyn Hatfield area, for a qualified Gymnastics Coach. The Coach will design and deliver structured gymnastics sessions, ensuring children’s safety while fostering skill development. Responsibilities include coaching children across varying skill levels & ages (5‑11) and maintaining a supportive and motivating environment. Good rapport with clear communication with students, their guardians, school staff and the head coach are key aspects of this role. Upon successful probation, this will lead to further coaching opportunities as the company grows. Qualifications / Requirements British Gymnastics General Gymnastics coaching level 2 or working towards Ability to teach a range of skill levels Strong skills in Coaching and Sports Coaching, with experience in designing effective training programmes Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, school staff and head coach Prior experience working with children or youth in a coaching setting preferred First aid certification or similar, up‑to‑date DBS (update service preferred) and safeguarding training Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment Recommended Own public liability & professional indemnity insurance Seniority level Entry level Employment type Part‑time Job function Other Industries Sports and Recreation Instruction #J-18808-Ljbffr
