Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Lead with current UK NMC professional registration in Mental Health. The successful candidate will be a non‑medial prescriber and will direct clinical pathways, manage services across substance misuse, coordinate all aspects of community clinical delivery (including detox), and lead evidence‑based change and continuous professional development. Main Duties of the Job Provide a visible, accessible and authoritative presence and expertise in substance misuse work for staff and patients. Act as a key channel of liaison and communication between service locations and the external environment. Provide clinical supervision and support to Nurses in specialist clinical roles. Develop the role of the NMP and work with the Trust and Inclusion's clinical manager to increase NMP numbers. Be responsible and accountable for clinical governance across Inclusion IOW, ensuring governance systems are robust, continuously reviewed, and reporting to the Trust Clinical Governance committee when required. Contribute to the development of clinical policies and procedures, ensuring dissemination of new standards, policies and statutory requirements. Produce reports in line with NDTMS and SLA targets set by commissioners.
