OverviewCatering Assistant | Part time | Burscough Primary. Lancashire County Council is looking for committed individuals to join the catering team and provide high quality, healthy meals for school children.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages.Prepare the dining area for service, including moving and setting up furniture and putting away.Clean all equipment and catering areas.What We Are Looking ForAbility to work as part of a team.Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.Good customer care skills.Previous catering and food preparation experience would be desirable.Working Hours/DaysMonday to Friday, 3 hours per day (15 hours per week).Term time only.Salary and TermSalary £24,310 per annum (full time equivalent). This is a part-time, fixed-term role; payments are pro-rata for the 15 hours per week.Additional InformationInternational sponsorship is not available for this role. The post is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended). If successful, a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check may be required.
