OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) to join the Wigan Talking Therapies team on a permanent basis. Wigan Talking Therapies is a well-established, high-performing service with a strong reputation for delivering excellent care and outcomes within the Talking Therapies sector. As a PWP, you will play a vital role in providing evidence-based, low-intensity psychological interventions to people experiencing common mental health difficulties.ResponsibilitiesDeliver evidence-based low-intensity CBT interventions to individuals experiencing common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression.Work within the integrated Step 2 and Step 3 team, collaborating with senior PWPs and management to ensure high-quality clinical practice and professional growth.Receive structured supervision and peer support to maintain clinical standards and personal development.QualificationsEducated to degree standard in psychology, social sciences or a health-related subject, demonstrating psychological mindedness.Recognised PWP qualification, e.g. Post Graduate Certificate in Advanced Practice Interventions for Mental Health (APIMH) or equivalent, accredited with BABCP/BPS.Evidence of competent delivery of low-intensity CBT for common mental health disorders, with demonstrated good clinical outcomes and meeting agreed targets in a service setting.Desirable: Diploma or Master's in APIMH or equivalent.Desirable: Experience of delivering groups for common mental health disorders and engaging traditionally underrepresented groups in IAPT services.BenefitsCompetitive salary and excellent pension scheme.Cycle-to-work scheme and salary sacrifice car scheme.Wellbeing programme and Blue Light Card discounts.FuelGenie fuel cards for applicable roles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
