Technical Storesperson Department: Warehouse Employment Type: Full Time Location: Rochdale Reporting To: Stacy Gouhar Description Job Title: Technical Storeperson Company: Salt Separation Services Location: Rochdale, on-site Department: Warehouse Compensation: £32,000 - £34,000 Salt Separation Services have been leading in desalination technology for over 35 years; specialising in the engineering, commissioning and servicing of reverse osmosis (RO) plants that provide drinkable water solutions across a variety of industries. Our systems are used in sectors including naval, oil, cruise ships, and more. Join us on the path to simplifying access to water solutions for a broad and varied client base Key Responsibilities Safely receive, store, and issue materials and equipment. Checking items against technical drawings. Verify incoming and outgoing goods against purchase orders and job travellers. Maintain accurate inventory records in the ERP system. Inspect incoming goods and communicate discrepancies to relevant departments. Pick and issue materials for production and sales orders. Document and review Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Support annual financial audits with accurate documentation. Promote and adhere to Health & Safety policies, including PPE compliance and reporting near misses. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Strong understanding of inventory management and inspection processes. Experience in reading and understanding technical drawings, within an engineering environment. Ability to work independently on complex tasks with minimal supervision. Competent in ERP systems and documentation standards (preferably Epicor). Knowledge of HSE practices and commitment to safe working environments. Excellent communication skills for cross-department collaboration. Physically fit and able to complete manual tasks.
