Role DescriptionThis position involves working in a structured manufacturing environment where consistency and precision are key. As an operator, you will be responsible for running machinery, supporting process efficiency, and ensuring that safety and quality standards are maintained throughout your shift. You'll participate in shift transitions, learn new procedures, and contribute to team performance. Accuracy is essential, and all tasks must be completed according to internal protocols. ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production equipmentParticipate in training and skill development sessionsAssist with resolving minor technical issues during productionSupport shift handovers and communicate effectively with team membersMaintain safety and cleanliness standards in the work areaFollow production schedules and report any deviations ProfileMinimum of 4 Standard Grades or equivalent, preferably in Maths and ScienceStrong attention to detail and problem-solving abilityBasic numerical skills and ability to follow xsabvtc instructionsGood communication skills in EnglishPrevious experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferredWillingness to learn and adapt to technical processes Employment ConditionsRegion: HeyshamSalary: £12.58 per hourWorking hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to FridayShift pattern: Early shift 06:00-14:30, late shift 13:30-22:00Contract: Temporary for 12 monthsVacancynumber: 26709
