Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Food Production Manager, located in Basildon. The Food Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing food production operations, managing staff, and ensuring quality and efficiency. Key responsibilities include supervising production teams, planning and organising production schedules, and ensuring compliance with food safety and hygiene standards. The role requires collaboration across teams to maintain a high standard of service and deliver nutritious meals for children. Qualifications 3-5 years supervisor/management experience in Food/ FMCG manufacturing environment Strong understanding of food safety systems, HACCP principles and SALSA/BRCGS or equivalent Proven Supervisory Skills with the ability to lead and motivate teams effectively Experience in Production Planning and Production Management Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities Commitment to maintaining health, safety, and quality standards Relevant certifications in food safety and hygiene are preferred Proven track record of delivering continuous improvement and achieving KPIs What we offer A supportive and passionate team of dynamic food professionals where innovation and improvement are celebrated and rewarded A meaningful, fulfilling role within a values‑driven, fast‑growing fresh food business Competitive salary with real growth potential. 33 days annual leave (includes bank holidays).
