OverviewThe Community Rehabilitation Service provides a flexible range of mental health interventions to help clients with complex mental health needs manage their mental health more effectively and remain in their own homes. The team works in close partnership with Social Care and housing providers to ensure each client has the necessary resources available to enable them to engage in their rehab journey. Across the Community Rehabilitation teams, the clinical team consists of Occupational Therapists, Psychologists, Nurses, and VCSE Workers.We currently have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to join our new North Kent Community Rehabilitation Service.Individuals will be expected to ensure the team is able to provide input between the hours of 08:00 and 20:00 according to the needs of the service, including working some evenings, weekends and public holidays.ResponsibilitiesIdentify, develop and provide the Occupational Therapy contribution within the multi-disciplinary service in accordance with the needs of service users and the requirements of the service.Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate therapeutic interventions for identified service users.Manage a defined caseload of service users with occupational needs using evidence based, service user centred, hope and recovery, health promotion and relapse prevention orientated principles and practice.Provide supervision to designated junior staff and students.About KMPT and Service ContextWe are Kent and Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust (KMPT), providing mental health, learning disability and specialist services, serving 1.8 million people across the county. As this post is based in Dartford, Gravesham or Swanley, the successful applicant will receive an additional payment each month: 5% of basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £1,303 per year and a maximum payment of £2,198 per year (the agreed annual amount will be divided into 12 equal amounts and paid monthly) (2025 figures).RequirementsThe post holder must hold a full, valid UK driving licence and have access to a car/vehicle to use for business purposes (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010).Advert closes on Wednesday 12 Nov 2025. #J-18808-Ljbffr
