General Assistant (Cleaner) at Everlast Gyms - 20-hour-per-week part‑time position in Glasgow, Scotland, United Kingdom. Mission: maintain cleanliness and safety in studios and facilities. What You’ll Be Doing Carry out thorough cleaning of all areas including gym floors, equipment, studios, locker rooms, showers, and communal spaces. Sanitise and disinfect surfaces to ensure a safe and hygienic environment. Empty bins, replace liners, and follow waste disposal procedures. Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, notifying management when stock is low. Work alongside the gym team to deliver a seamless member experience. Report maintenance or repair needs promptly. Uphold Everlast Gyms’ cleanliness and safety standards at all times. Qualifications Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred, but not essential – full training provided. High attention to detail with the ability to work independently. Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation, and safe chemical handling (training provided if needed). Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks. A good communicator and team player. Flexible to work evenings and weekends in line with gym opening hours. Why Join Us?
