Analyst – Statistics A key member of our Statistics team, you will conduct detailed analysis of clinical and health data, transform findings into clear reports, and present results to clients, healthcare professionals and regulatory agencies such as NICE. Responsibilities Analyse patient‑level clinical trial data, observational studies and real‑world data. Synthesise published aggregate data to answer questions about treatment effectiveness. Plan analyses, assess feasibility, choose appropriate statistical methodologies and write protocols. Critically appraise statistical analyses, interpret complex results, and communicate findings in written and oral formats. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external stakeholders through teleconferences and face‑to‑face meetings. Contribute to publications, value materials or Health Technology Assessment (HTA) submissions. Receive one‑to‑one training on technical skills, project management and client communication. Essential Requirements Undergraduate qualification in a scientific discipline (minimum 2.1 or equivalent). Postgraduate qualifications are an advantage. Interest and comfort in working with complex numeric data. Self‑motivated, enthusiastic with a genuine interest in healthcare. Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical and organisational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience producing scientific documents. Proactive mindset and collaborative approach. Self‑awareness and willingness to take ownership of work and career development. Fluency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Ability to reflect on performance and contribute to the wider division. Commitment to Costello Medical’s values of quality, innovation, integrity and supportiveness. Passion for statistics (programming experience not required for this Analyst role). Hybrid Working Policy After probation (normally 6 months), you may work from home up to half your time, measured over a 2‑week rolling period. During probation you may work from home one day per week. Visa Sponsorship Eligible candidates will be offered visa sponsorship for the Analyst – Statistics role.
