We are seeking a Senior Platform Lifecycle Engineer to join the NCA and play a vital role in transforming how we deliver critical services.In this role, you'll be responsible for assessment of existing platforms, participating in upgrade or replacement projects, and executing lifecycle management strategies in line with NHS standards and industry best practices.Working across platforms both on-premise and Cloud, you'll collaborate with IT and clinical teams to optimise platform delivery, ensuring high availability, security, and performance. You'll refresh, replace and decommission platforms.Your expertise will be key in troubleshooting complex issues, and implementing best practices for security and compliance within the NHS framework. Your key tasks include implementing lifecycle activities, assessing existing platforms, and executing management strategies in line with NHS standards.You will collaborate with senior team members and stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate platform options, and offer technical expertise. Your role will focus on identifying innovations, optimizing costs, and ensuring regulatory compliance.You will also provide technical support for platform issues, including troubleshooting performance problems, coordinating with vendors, and implementing solutions to minimize service disruptions.Your contributions will enhance platform infrastructure, improving system performance, scalability, and reliability.
