Support Worker – Female Pay rate: £14.50 per hour (paid weekly or monthly) Shift pattern: Day shifts – Monday to Friday 10:00‑17:00, Night shifts – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday 20:00‑08:00 Location: New Malden, Surrey (local to the area required) About the role Work with a family caring for a child with complex needs caused by Spinal Muscular Atrophy and a brain injury. The child requires a tracheostomy, ventilation and PEG tube feeding. The role involves providing high‑quality support on a 2:1 basis, ensuring compassionate and attentive care tailored to the child’s needs. Engage the child in meaningful activities and take them out in the community to promote social interaction and well‑being. Support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organised living environment that fosters comfort and independence. Communicate clearly and confidently in the child’s preferred manner, building a strong and trusting relationship. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience with complex care, PEG feeding and children’s care. Desirable experience with non‑bal care, ventilation and tracheostomy. What else do we offer?
