Our Worcestershire OOH Service is a vital part of our urgent care network, offering clinical triage and support to patients across the region. We’re looking for a part‑time Rota Administrator to join our team. You’ll be central to our operations, ensuring clinical rotas are accurate, responsive, and well‑communicated. Working closely with clinicians and managers, you’ll help maintain service continuity and support our commitment to patient care. This is a part‑time position offering 30 hours per week. The days will be worked over a 5‑day week with the alternating Saturdays. Exact hours will be discussed at interview but will be within usual working hours. What you’ll be doing As Rota Administrator, you’ll manage clinical schedules for our Worcestershire OOH service. Your role ensures clinicians are in the right place at the right time, supporting safe and efficient care delivery. Key Responsibilities Creating and updating rotas using scheduling software. Liaising with clinicians to confirm availability and manage changes. Monitoring staffing levels and flagging gaps. Recording leave, sickness, and absences. Supporting onboarding of new staff into the rota. Communicating updates clearly to stakeholders. Resolving conflicts and adapting to urgent changes. You’ll work in a dynamic environment where priorities shift quickly. Accuracy, flexibility, and strong communication are essential. Occasional out‑of‑hours support may be required during peak times. You’ll be supported by a collaborative team and encouraged to contribute ideas for improvement. Essential Skills Experience in admin or scheduling roles. Strong IT skills, especially Excel and scheduling tools. Excellent written and verbal communication. High attention to detail and time management. Ability to work independently and under pressure. Desirable Healthcare or NHS experience. Understanding of clinical staffing and confidentiality. Personal Qualities Calm, approachable, and solution‑focused. Motivated by supporting frontline care.
