Job Description Join Our Diverse Ultrasound Team at Perspectum, Oxford We are looking for a skilled Ultrasound Sonographer to join our innovative team at Perspectum’s Oxford Community Diagnostic Centre , in partnership with the Oxford University Hospitals (OUH) NHS Trust . You'll be responsible for performing and reporting a variety of ultrasound scans, including gynaecological, general, vascular, abdominal, soft tissue, and small parts imaging. This role offers autonomy, allowing you to conduct unsupervised scans and provide independent reports, playing a crucial part in patient diagnosis and care. In this role, you’ll ensure patients receive exceptional care, from clear communication about procedures to making specialist recommendations and suggesting follow-up actions when necessary. You’ll be legally and professionally accountable for your work, taking a lead in maintaining high standards of clinical practice. About You We are seeking a motivated, compassionate sonographer with NHS experience who can work independently and confidently. You should hold a relevant qualification (PGDip in Medical Ultrasound / DMU or equivalent) and be registered with RCT or HCPC. The ability to work with a multi-disciplinary team and manage your workload efficiently is essential. Ideally, you'll have experience teaching and mentoring junior staff although this is not essential. Why Work with Us?
