We rely on dedicated volunteers to help us create lasting positive impacts in the lives of those in need. Role Description This is a volunteer role as a Community Volunteer at Medway Soup Kitchen. Volunteers will assist with food preparation, serving, and ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests. Responsibilities may include organizing donations, cleaning, and engaging with individuals to provide emotional support. This is a hybrid role, based in Chatham, with some flexibility for occasional remote work, such as assisting with administrative tasks or coordination activities. Qualifications Food preparation, organization, and hygiene skills Strong communication, interpersonal, and listening skills Empathy, patience, and a willingness to work with vulnerable populations Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting Basic computer or administrative skills for remote tasks Commitment to Medway Soup Kitchen's mission and values Previous volunteer experience or community involvement is an advantage but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
