Job Overview The Customer Engineering team at Calor Gas are looking to recruit an engaging and proactive Gas Engineer providing engineering services and emergency response to Calor customers in the area. Travel (van and fuel provided) in order to meet customer service standards for our largely rural customer base. The role requires participation in a standby rota to respond to gas emergencies out of normal working hours. Flexible, positive and adaptable approach required. Additional rates of pay apply. Qualifications ACS Gas Qualified. Experience in dealing with customers and providing excellent customer care. Any relevant gas engineering experience would be considered useful, and an understanding of LPG and the installation and maintenance of bulk LPG tanks and cylinders would be a distinct advantage. Knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards, including Health and Safety awareness. Be able to follow procedures and instructions. Full industry specific training and support will be given to the right individual. A Full Manual UK driving licence is essential.
