Why not join us as a Lecturer in Carpentry? This is a full-time role, working 37 hours per week. Day to day duties of the role Teaching practical and theory sessions in Carpentry and related Construction areas, teaching across a range of topics, as agreed with the Heads of Area. Tutoring and pastoral support for students, showing sensitivity to their needs and encouraging the highest possible standards. Meeting targets, with reference to student progress on programmes, for their attendance and retention to maximise their learning opportunity. Providing advice and guidance to new and existing students in their journey to either employment or other courses within the Construction at the College.5 years professional experience in the Construction industry. Carpentry qualification at Level 2 (e.g., Craft Certificate or NVQ L2).
