This, along with our commitment to our local communities, is what makes working at Puratos so magical.To strengthen our team in Puratos Fourayes, near Sittingbourne, Kent, we are looking for a:Quality ControllerYour MissionReporting to the Technical Manager and working in conjunction with the production supervisors, the successful candidate will be responsible for accurate labelling of the finished products (fillings/jams/mincemeats), following the production plan and ensuring that the customers’ food safety and quality expectations are met.What you will doProduce product labels with the correct information and required print quality.Ensure the correct product/quantity for each customer is produced in line with the Production plan.Monitor and safeguard the quality and food safety of the finished product, recording quality scores on the relevant documents.Carry out hourly metal detector tests for each production line.Maintain a clean and safe working environment.What we expect from youThe successful candidate should have high levels of numeracy and literacy and, will ideally have previous experience of FMCG or food manufacturing and machine operation, a certificate in basic food hygiene and HACCP would be desirable, though not essential.Effective communication with other staff members.Flexibility and multi-taskingDue to our rural location and the shift pattern, you will need to have your own means of transport to the site.What you can expect from PuratosPay: £12.32 per hour.Working pattern: Core hours are Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week.
