They are seeking a hardworking Fire Stopping Engineer in the North West of England, to cover new and existing client contracts. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical knowledge as well as a comprehensive skillset. Experience / Qualifications: Must have strong experience working as a Fire Stopping / Passive Fire Engineer It is essential to hold the FIRAS ticket Ideally will hold the NVQ Level 2 in Fire Stopping Strong compliance guideline knowledge Flexible to travel in line with company requirements Good IT and literacy skills The Role: Installing fire stopping systems, such as: batt, mastic, fire resistant sealants, firestop blocks Hanging fire curtains Conducting compartmentation surveys Inspecting existing and new installations, to ensure that they are functional and fitted correctly Identifying required remedial duties and actioning Interpreting technical drawings Working to agreed deadlinesEnsuring to wear correct PPE at all times Completing regular service reports Future Select are recruiting in the Compliance / Environmental industry, including: Passive Fire / Critical Air / Clean Air / Air Hygiene / Fire Safety; we work with the best clients & candidates and supply the majority of permanent jobs in the market.
