Responsibilities Provide high-quality care tailored to each person’s individual needs Assist with personal care (e.g. bathing, dressing, grooming) Help with meal prepping, preparation and nutrition Support with medication, prescriptions and safe disposal Carry out light housework like tidying, laundry and general cleaning Be a dependable friendly, familiar face for all the customers you care for Benefits £13/hr weekdays £13.48/hr weekends £19/hr bank holidays Paid travel time (£12.22/hr) Paid mileage A variety of shift patterns, inc. day and/or evening work Health and wellbeing programme (over £1,000/yr cashback) Full induction and ongoing expert training Regular support and ongoing career development Pension contribution Company events Blue Light Card Refer a friend and customer scheme Vehicle repairs discounts Contribution to DBS check Requirements A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle Aged 18+ Right to Work in the UK (we cannot accept sponsored staff or VISA transfers) A kind, compassionate attitude and a calm approach to care Weekend hours (every other weekend or one day every weekend) Great communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships Previous care experience is beneficial but not a necessity as full training is provided If you care deeply, Bluebird Care makes sure you have the time you need to do what you do best, the training so you can keep doing it better and the rewards that delivering such high-quality care deserves.
