Due to continued growth, we are recruiting for experienced Multi Traders to join the reactive maintenance team covering occupied and void properties across East London. Role Overview We are looking for a skilled Multi Trader, ideally with a carpentry or plumbing bias, to carry out a wide range of reactive maintenance tasks. From installing kitchens and hanging doors to fixing taps, tiling, and general internal repairs - this is a varied and hands‑on role ensuring homes are kept in good condition for residents. Key Responsibilities Undertake general reactive maintenance tasks in occupied and void properties. Carry out multi-trade repairs including carpentry, plumbing, plastering, tiling, and general building maintenance. Respond to repair requests promptly and professionally. Complete works to high standards, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive attitude with tenants. Use PDAs to log completed jobs and materials used. Work independently or as part of a team to meet service levels. Requirements Proven experience in a similar role within social or domestic housing. Main trade ideally carpentry, with the ability to cover other trades. Full UK driving licence (essential). Good IT skills and familiarity with using PDAs and SOR codes (desirable). Strong knowledge of H&S regulations and safe working practices. Ability to diagnose probl ems and deliver effective solutions. Must supply own tools. Excellent communication and time management skills.
