About the Role You will be supporting pupils with a range of needs including: Autism (ASD) ADHD Speech, language and communication needs Social, emotional, and behavioural needs Learning delays or barriers to learning Your duties will include: Providing 1:1 support and small-group guidance Assisting pupils with emotional regulation Helping deliver personalised learning activities Supporting classroom routines Working with teachers to implement EHCP targets Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive learning habits Full training is provided, and you’ll work closely with experienced staff who will support your development. What the School Is Looking For The ideal candidate will be: Calm, patient, and consistent Able to build positive relationships with pupils Confident working with additional needs (or willing to learn) Reliable and committed to supporting children long-term A good communicator who works well in a team Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant, SEN TA, LSA, Support Worker, or within childcare is highly valued — but not essential. Strong character is more important than a perfect CV.
