About The Role We’re looking for a talented Mechanical Design Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. You’ll play a key role in the full product lifecycle from concept and design to manufacturing and continuous improvement, working on complex scanning systems used in critical security environments. What You’ll Do Design and develop mechanical components including fabricated structures, sheet metalwork, machined parts, and hydraulic systems. Create general arrangement and assembly drawings, along with detailed bills of materials. Ensure mechanical designs integrate seamlessly with electrical and system components. Participate in design reviews, project kick-offs, and customer meetings. Manage Engineering Change Requests (ECRs) and Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) through our document control system. Collaborate with global teams in the US (Boston) and India (Hyderabad), uploading designs into our PLM system. What We’re Looking For HNC or higher in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent industry experience). Strong experience in designing large, fabricated products and electro‑mechanical assemblies. Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential; experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus. Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., Agile) is beneficial. Background in design for manufacture and production environments. Solid understanding of engineering calculations and their practical application. #J-18808-Ljbffr
