The mission of the service is to provide a holding treatment environment for patients transitioning from Inpatient Level of care, or Psychiatric Emergency Room. Seeking a Part-Time (8hrs/week on Tuesdays) Registered Nurse for a First-Episode Early Psychosis Treatment Program. This program is part of the Massachusetts Early Psychosis Network and is guided by the NAVIGATE model for Coordinated Specialty Care. This program serves adolescents through young adults. Position is based at 2 CHA locations, Cambridge and Malden, to serve a large catchment area that includes Cambridge, Somerville, Malden, Everett, and Boston’s Metro North Region. The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for providing patient care in accordance with established Nursing Standards of Care. The RN demonstrates initiative, knowledge and clinical skills in caring for patients with complex needs. The Registered Nurse demonstrates the ability to effectively manage patients by assuming full responsibility for the assessment, plan, implementation and evaluation of nursing care and directly reports to a designated nurse manager and/or clinical manager / off shift manager.
