Reports to: Lead Contract Manager Role Overview Assistant Contract Manager at Low Carbon Contracts Company (LCCC) – responsible for supporting the development and delivery of Contracts for Difference (CfD) schemes, helping shape low‑carbon business models, and ensuring robust, transparent contracts. Key Responsibilities Relationship management: Build and maintain professional relationships with stakeholders, visiting sites and engaging face‑to‑face as required. Communication: Translate technical requirements for non‑technical audiences, provide concise summaries, prepare presentation materials, and manage information flow. Problem solving: Use analytical and engineering thinking to identify and resolve project issues, propose improvements, and present clear options. Learning Contracts for Difference processes: Understand contractual terms, shadow senior managers, and apply LCCC processes throughout the contract lifecycle. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Commercial experience in relationship management, communication and problem solving. Energy background and technical knowledge of renewable technology (highly desirable).
