The professional will manage client relationships and work across the Service Delivery Lifecycle to analyze, design, build, test, implement and maintain multiple system components and applications. Additional responsibilities include, as part of a team, managing periodic maintenance activities, refreshes, patching and upgrades.You must have the desire and ability to work independently on complex issues as well as collaborate efficiently with experts to anticipate issues that impact customer success.The role includes the following tasks:Provision, monitor and operate cloud services in a globally distributed teamAnalyze and solve operational issues and respond to incidentsExposure to working with complex systems administration, database administration and landscape maintenanceExposure to maintaining the integrity and security of servers and systemsExposure to developing and monitoring policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resourcesConduct root cause analysis and implement continuous improvementsPartner with product development team to design and enhance the servicesExposure to developing and implementing testing strategies and documenting resultsBasic development of automation for testing, deployment, scalability, management & visibility of servicesWork in a diverse environment and cross-train with other global team membersWillingness to Support On-call rotation scheduleFlexible schedule which may include weekend or after-hours workWhat you will bringWe are looking for a team player who likes to learn continuously and share the acquired knowledge.In addition the following skills are necessary:Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university in an appropriate fieldExcellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with the ability to create and sustain meaningful client relationshipsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsUnderstanding of troubleshooting and root cause analysisAbility to multitask and handle various projects, deadlines and changing prioritiesBasic understanding of hyperscaler AWS / Azure / GCPBasic understanding of Cloud Computing and DatabasesGood to have skills but not necessary -Understanding of GITUnderstanding of CI / CDUnderstanding with LinuxUnderstanding of monitoring toolsUnderstanding of web services, networking, virtualization and internet protocolsUnderstanding of KubernetesUnderstanding of automation tools like Ansible and TerraformUnderstanding of security fundamentals as they pertain to SaaS Multitenant Applications and systemsDue to the potentially classified nature of our work you are required to subject yourself to a governmental security clearance process (offer and employment will be conditional on obtaining security clearance).Bring out your bestSAP innovations help more than four hundred thousand customers worldwide work together more efficiently and use business insight more effectively.
