Yard Foreman Location: Bathgate, Scotland, United Kingdom Employment Type: Full time, PermanentSalary: Competitive We are partnering with a market leader in the event specialist industry who provide the hire and sale of marquees to festivals, corporate events, film productions, weddings and private parties. We are looking for a Yard Foreman with forklift experience who is looking for a rewarding fast‑paced role within a national marquee hire and event specialist. The Role As a Yard Foreman you will ensure the safe and efficient running of the yard and warehouse. You will lead and inspire a team of yard assistants who will assist you in your duties. Key Responsibilities Lead the yard team, picking loads from a pick list, loading and unloading trucks and vans. Plan and allocate your team’s daily tasks and ensure they are completed. Play a leading role in the continuous improvement of the yard layout and strive to find improvements in its efficiency and design. Maintain a tidy and safe working environment at all times. What We’re Looking For Physically active, able to lift heavy marquee materials. Forklift experience. A passionate and reliable leader who can create a team through collaboration and motivation. Friendly and outgoing personality with excellent communication skills. Adaptable, dependable, resilient with high levels of energy and drive. Someone who thrives in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment.
