Earn £13.00–£17.26/hr + 45p mileage as a Homecare Support Worker with Ignis Care.

Minimum 1-hour visits, in-house Birmingham training (Manual Handling & BLS), uniform/PPE, bank-holiday uplift, clinically led induction and full shadowing. Work locally in small, stable teams with strong on-call support.

Driver with own car essential. Part-time or full-time available.

We’re building a strong, consistent homecare team across Walsall, Bloxwich, Birchills, Caldmore and Palfrey a team where people stay, support one another, and deliver proper relationship-led care.

We’re now recruiting Homecare Support Workers in the Walsall area.

What we offer

• £13.00 – £17.26/hr depending on the pay model you choose
• 45p/mile (first 10,000 miles), 25p thereafter
• Minimum 1-hour visits
• Full in-house Birmingham training (Manual Handling & BLS)
• Clinically led induction + paid shadowing

• Bank Holiday & Christmas uplift (1.5x)
• Additional HMRC mileage reclaim
• Consistent on-call support
• Local Walsall rounds no excessive travel

The role

• Companionship & emotional support
• Meal preparation
• Medication prompts/administration
• Washing, dressing & personal care
• Light domestic tasks
• Support after hospital discharge
• Digital notes using PASS
• Relationship-focused work with regular customers
