We can teach you the skills you’ll need to succeed.What’s in it for you?Competitive rate of payA free meal and a drink while working20% discount on all food, drinks and hotel accommodation (for you and up to three guests) when not working£1 extra per hour for hours worked between midnight and 5.59amBonus scheme – earn up to 19% of your payGuaranteed‑hour contracts and variable‑hour contracts availablePaid holidayFree shares after a qualifying periodLoyalty reward schemeThe roleAt a glance, your role is to clean all areas of the hotel thoroughly, enhancing guests’ experience by maintaining excellent cleanliness standards at all times.Duties IncludeInteract politely with guests – greet them, say ‘thank you’ and ‘goodbye’Service bedrooms and all other areas of the hotel in line with our standard operating proceduresComplete daily, weekly and monthly cleaning tasks as requiredFollow correct procedures when using cleaning chemicals and equipmentMonitor cleaning supplies and notify the manager when more are neededStore all laundry correctly and complete relevant documentationAdhere to stock‑control procedures and maintain security of stock at all timesReport any security issues, safety hazards, accidents, incidents and/or maintenance issues to the manager on dutyComplete required induction, role‑specific and ongoing refresher training and contribute to continuous improvementProgression and developmentWe support development with structured on‑the‑job training, apprenticeships, management academies, cross‑training into other areas (bar, floor, kitchen) and opportunities to progress into team‑leader, shift‑leader and beyond.Inclusive working environmentWetherspoon promotes inclusive culture.
