SEN Teaching AssistantLocation: EalingContract Type: Full-time / Term-time onlyStart Date: As soon as possiblePay Rate: £85-100 per dayAbout the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive SEN school in West London. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with young people and wants to make a real difference in the classroom. You will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons, provide one-to-one or small-group support, and help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport class teachers in delivering high-quality lessons and activities.Work with individual pupils or small groups to reinforce learning.Provide support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) or English as an Additional Language (EAL).Prepare learning materials and assist with classroom organisation.Promote positive behaviour and help pupils develop confidence and independence.Supervise pupils during lessons, transitions, and breaks when required.Contribute to the wider school life, including clubs, trips, and enrichment activities.Person SpecificationEssentialExperience working or volunteering with children or young people.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.Reliable, proactive, and able to work well in a team.A genuine interest in supporting children's education and development.DesirableLevel 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).Experience supporting pupils with SEN or EAL.GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.Interest in progressing towards a career in teaching or education.Why Join Us?Supportive and friendly school community in London.Regular term-time hours (no weekends).Excellent opportunity to gain experience in education.£85-100 per day, paid weekly.Training and development opportunities provided through Mindlynk. #J-18808-Ljbffr
