Principal Fire Engineer Job in Manchester, Cheshirein Manchester, for an established and leading fire consultancy. As a key part of the Fire Engineering team, you will be working through all stages of complex fire engineering projects. The role offers a salary of £65,000 – £90,000 + Bonus + 27 Days Holiday + BH + hybrid working + healthcare + continuous CPD / professional development.They offer strategic advice, innovative design, construction oversight and risk management services to wide ranging clients in the UK and worldwide. They work across a wide range of sectors including commercial, residential, education, transport, healthcare, hospitality and nuclear.Role & ResponsibilitiesReporting to Associate Fire Engineer / Associate DirectorManaging technical aspects of larger projects or components of major projectsSupport and mentor Fire Engineers within your teamDelivery of fire consultancy services, designer services and fire strategiesManage internal and external enquiriesDevelop new and existing client relationships and identify new business opportunitiesLead the fire engineering team / s to deliver multiple projectsAttend design team meetings throughout the projectSupport with business strategy and digital innovationsPreparation of reports, engineering designs, calculations and specificationsProject manage from start to end including financials, quality management planning and customer care.Client facing through the lifecycle of projects.Required Skills & ExperienceEngineering Council Accredited BEng Hons, MEng or MScCEng / IEng or working towardsMIFIREE or working towardsIdeally 7+ years’ experience in fire engineeringExtensive experience in delivering fire-engineered solutions for UK based projectsFamiliar with active passive and active fire protection systemsStrong understanding of UK legislation / regulations and design guidance (will also consider applicants from New Zealand or Australia with similar regulations)Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently, working to tight deadlinesUK Driving Licence and own vehicle.What you get backSalary £65,000 – £90,000 (Negotiable)Mileage paid 45p per mileChartership bonus and additional bonus scheme27 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays (option to buy 10 additional days)Hybrid Working (2-3 days working remotely)Pension scheme 6%Private healthcareChildcare schemeLife CoverContinuous CPD / Professional developmentElectric Car Benefit. #J-18808-Ljbffr
